T.L. Swan is a best-selling author of twenty-eight books, including the historical fantasy series A Fistful of Dragons and the new steampunk series of the same name. A former engineer, Swan's love of history was sparked by her involvement in military reenactment groups. Her first novel was inspired by an ancestor who had been a member of the first, all-female aerial squadron in the U.S
